Poster at BayesComp 2018

Zhe Sha has just returned from the Bayes Comp 2018 conference in Barcelona, Spain, where she presented a poster on our recent work using a Bayesian framework to update a forward model of glacial isostatic adjustment (GIA): “Bayesian model-data synthesis with an application to global Glacio-isostatic adjustment”. A major contribution of this work has been modelling the non-stationarity of a global process, and this aspect received considerable interest at the conference.

Bayes Comp is a biennial event, sponsored by the International Society for Bayesian Analysis (ISBA). Its main aim is to promote original research into computational methods for inference and decision making and to encourage the use of frontier computational tools among practitioners.
